What a disappointment. We arrived here expecting to be able to eat as it advertises food available on a Sunday. There wasn't any, there also wasn't any cask ale as only 1 handpump had a badge on it and that was turned round. Needless to say it was completely empty. We had a word with the only staff person in who said "We normally do food but..." and "We normally have cask ale but...". What a shambles, so we left.

A modern contemporary style Bar/Kitchen, comprising of a ground and first floor. The entrance area consisted of a lounge area, plus a steel and glass staircase leading to a first floor seating area. A small sized bar area was positioned on the left hand side of the entrance. The interior hosted lots of exposed brick from the original building, tiled floors on the ground floor, the bar area was finished in polished oak. The place had a relaxed atmosphere and tended to attract more coffee drinking and diners. However there were three handpumps on the bar, with only one in use serving Hobsons Old Prickly. The bar staff explained they usually have all three in use, but this was the 2nd of January, so were waiting for a delivery. Prices were ok and the beer was in good shape.
