Old Boots left this review about The Rookery Bar

Long thin shop conversion that’s gone for the distressed look with old scaf' boards and corrugated iron wall treatments, plywood squares as ceiling tiles with a nice laminated floor. Mix of 1960s style plywood chairs and short booths as seating. Three pulls on the corrugated iron fronted counter, two on, both with ok beers from Black Sheep. Six mid league kegs and a wall of cocktail makings behind. Something upstairs but a bit of sash cord blocked the entrance. Take the opening hours with a pinch of salt and there’s a premium on halves.
