Self billed as a micro pub but it’s not quite what you’d expect from that label. A rectangular room smelling vaguely of something weird, pee? smoke? disinfectant? Laminate flooring with a selection of leatherette covered banquettes and chairs or plastic chairs at modern wooden tables. An L shaped counter has five keg solos with a selection of national brands and a bar back with a selection of spirits. Not a lot of decor, a skeleton clock, some music related artwork and some 45s, That’s about it. Not gloomy but well not a joyful experience for me although the bargain punters seemed happy enough. There’s an upstairs but I didn’t explore it, the music choice kept changing as some punters objected to Johnny Cash then to Eric Clapton.
