The Dark Horse is a large pub and restaurant with a bar area to the left and large seating area to the right. There is another seating area at the rear but this was roped off during a recent late afternoon midweek visit. My visit must have been just before closing because the opening times are 09:00 – 17:00 in the week, 10:00 – 18:00 on Saturdays and closed Sundays. The decor is splendid and the furniture is unique, apparently sourced from historic hotels and businesses. Standard keg is available. This place is worth a look, but I wouldn’t stay for more than a pint.

This is a smart one roomed bar and coffee house with excellent furnishings that is directly opposite the Duke Of York.Arrived around 2pm on a Monday and noticing there was no cask on asked for a pint of lager, but the landlord said all the lagers and beers had run out due to a surge over the weekend. But in all fairness he said he had no objection for us to go across the road to the Duke Of York (which we did) as it was owned by the same people.
Apparently there is a game of thrones door that is a big deal for the enthusiasts and they say there is another 9 all around Northern Ireland.
