Thuck Phat left this review about Craft Yard

A recently converted micropub with bare brick walls, scaffold built bottle shelves, light wood floors and a right on trend line in industrial furniture and lighting. It's clearly been well thought out and executed and I liked it as do the citizens of Tring if our early Wednesday evening visit was anything to go by with a mixed clientele including regulars, families and ladies on the gin.
There are 10 pumps on the back wall with beers listed on a blackboard above. Unfortunately the listings don't include the brewery although this was forthcoming on asking the friendly governor.
Breweries represented included Gypsy Hill, Bad Co, King Street and Northern Monk with all offerings being keg and only one over 5%. As always with keg things don't come cheap but £4.50 to £5.50 per pint isn't as eye watering as many.
There's also a wide selection of gins.
Tring's first micropub and worth a look in for a swifty.

ORIGINAL REVIEW May 2018
A micropub featuring only keg beers ,a large selection of gins and a modest array of bottled beers to consume within or take away.Indeed growlers of the kegged beers can also be purchased. There are two entrances,a narrow alley off the High Street leading past some courtyard seating to a white entrance door,or a proper frontage around the corner on Parsonage Place.A single room, with bar to the left,a few bar stools ,two upturned powder coated oil barrels and stools and a sofa for seating, the pine floor has space for vertical drinking and inspecting the bottle selection. There are 10 keg taps, and on entering the guv'nor apologised for only having pale beers on,with prices varying from £3.80-£5.30 depending on ABV.
The selection from the 10 taps on my trip was Mad Squirrel Hopfest and Sumo,Siren Craft Soundwave and Yulu,Tiny Rebel Fubar,One Mile End Salvation,Summer Wine Sucker Punch,Brew by Numbers 21.05 and Gipsy Hill Hepcat, decent on a hot day being not too cold nor over gassed.Hip music was playing, and the gin selection was proving popular.Shame that real ale was not available,as some of those keg beers on cask can be sublime. However a decent addition to the Tring drinking scene especially right in the middle of town where choice has been limited.Point off for having all 10 taps serving pale ales with little variation in style.

UPDATE
The occasional use of key kegs mean that CAMRA will consider some of the beer here to be real ale,so I have ticked the micopub tab.Expect women to be sampling from the extensive gin collection.
