A rather imposing building from outside, set in nice grounds, with seating and floral decorations by the door. Inside has an upmarket drawing room feel and is clearly aimed mainly at food, with a large restaurant area in the adjoining extension. The description 'Country pub and dining' sums it up really. No complaints with the Greenjack's ale however, which was in top form despite being immediately after opening. Not much in the way of traditional pub entertainments although a piano in the side room is apparently played monthly or so. Has its own campsite behind.
