We finally found this place open yesterday. It opens at 2pm on a Sunday.

We arrived to find the door closed. But a lady was standing outside smoking. This turned out to be the rather eccentric, but friendly and chatty landlady. She insists on customers wearing masks on entering this cellar bar, or when moving around. She also provides masks if necessary.

The room is small, but has an enormous range of artefacts on the walls. The bar itself has 4 or 5 pumps for craft beers. Those available yesterday were Fossil Dinner, Black Lodge Lost Heads, Glen Affric Bevvie Across The Mersey & Chapter Unconsenting Soul.

The landlady explained that she only sources local beers, including the large canned range. With a fridge next to the bar and a cabinet full of cans, the bar has a very cluttered look, in common with the whole room.

The pub was created to service the ever-expanding local community in this area. We saw no other customers whilst we were there. But it's certainly an interesting addition to the Baltic Triangle.

A new small quirky micropub-like place (in that its small) which is now open but has limited opening hours at the moment so best check. The place is easy to miss as its just a door in the bottom corner of a large warehouse-like building. Its down a few steps and once in you have a single L-shaped room with assorted artwork for sale dotted around. A variety of antique items dotted around including very old TV's, dolls prams and signage amongst others. 2 handpulls on the bar, as yet unused but I was assured that they will be getting real ale in from local breweries.
