Brand new micro-pub in a converted flower shop right in the centre of Cranbrook. Plainly furnished inside, with a mix of wooden tables of various sizes, plus a couple of fold-up chairs out on the pavement for those wanting to catch some autumn sunshine. Fairly bare walls at this stage, but the light paintwork helps avoid too dark a feel. Four real ales on stillage in a small room behind the compact counter, with two from Pig & Porter - Red Spider rye and Skylarking session IPA - Hopfuzz Martello and Old Dairy 950 (£3.40). Five local ciders available too. NB - Amongst the 'coming soon' beers advertised on the board is Larkins Traditional, but the establishment is not connected to the eponymous brewery.

Long awaited micropub in a former florist's shop.Long and narrow, with tables and chairs to the front, a bar to the back.Cask beers served from a still room to the rear.Busy on my lunchtime visit on day two of operation.
