Steve C left this review about The George
The flagstone floored George has seating to the left and right of the entrance in separate areas that are both served by the bar counter across the rear wall. Both sides have a fireplace, but the left hand side feels more like a dining area and the right a bar complete with dartboard and large television that was off whilst some background music played. The bar supports three handpumps that were drawing Dartmoor’s Jail Ale alongside St Austell’s Proper Job and Tribute. There is also a standard keg range including four ciders. To the left of the pub is a patio area with seating and out the back is a car park. There’s not a lot to this place, but I found the service to be very friendly so I would return.
