Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Black Diamond
1950s? Marston's pub serving the older 'model village' housing area opposite. Retains a twin-bar layout, with a plain, light public bar and a darker, more comfortable lounge. Also has a compact beer garden at the front plus some more wooden benches on part of the car park. Usually has real ale available from the pair of handpumps on each counter (two with reversed EPA clips), but supplies had only just been delivered and hadn't settled yet, so made do with a pint of Smooth (£2.85) instead.
