Steve C left this review about The Firkin Doghouse
The Firkin Doghouse is a yellow and green painted corner pub that was busy with a local crowd during a recent Tuesday evening visit. The L-shaped bar counter along the left wall faces seating that runs under the front windows and banquettes and gaming machines that line the right-hand wall. A pool table and dartboard are found at the rear. It was dart league night so this area was busy. There was some intermittent music emanating from the jukebox when someone coughed up a quid to put some tunes on. Standard keg is available. This pub may feel a little too ‘estate’ for some, but I thought there was a good atmosphere so would pop back in if passing.
