Old Boots left this review about Banyan

We are probably all familiar with this chain’s style, mostly mid height seating, emphasis on eating and cocktails in a blander modern setting. There is an interesting set of framed bits of old maps in a corner by the semi exposed kitchen. The Roundhay outlet isn’t much different, there are two big pipe keg displays with some standard kegs and a quad dispenser with more interesting beers from North, Salt and Brewdog. Being set back from the road in a row of shops it has a larger front patio area.
