The Sportsman is a proper looking pub that is part of an hotel.
Once inside there is a single oblong shaped room which is roughly divided into two halfs by a partition,the bar faces on entry.
The room is carpeted and the seating comfy bench type and normal tables and chairs,there were TVs showing sky sports football score updates.
There were no real ales on the bar,i had a drink of keg Old Speckled Hen,which was not that bad,the other keg bitter was John Smiths Smooth Crap.
This seemed like a decent and comfortable pub to have a drink in.
