Old Boots left this review about The Town Mouse
Easy to miss cellar micro next to ‘Spoons Five Swans. A single room going back a little way in an L shape and furnished with tables and chairs plus stools at drinking shelves. Six pulls and eight keg taps with a fridge of bottles and cans. Friendly and knowledgeable owner.

As others have said it is easy to walk straight past this one but I was looking for it! There was a small queue waiting for the door to open at 12. Great little micro with a really varied beer choice. We enjoyed the Bampa Best bitter and Wylam Fleek pale ale. Very chatty and knowledgeable staff. Well worth a visit.

lovely small micro pub, actually hard to find despite being on the main road as its in the basement and well hidden. Great beer and friendly service.
