Castello Lounge is a café bar with open plan seating and a bar counter on the rear wall that supports premium and a couple of craft keg products. It was busier than any of the pubs I visited during a recent Tuesday evening crawl of the area, which gave me a sense of doom. Most tables were occupied and the crowd was a mix of couples and girls out for a bite to eat and a drink. I grabbed a table by the bar to drink my half and spent most of my 15 minutes in here listening to a young man smashing the coffee machine about. The service was polite, but this place isn’t for me.
