Now called Gatsby's Bar & Grill, this place is now more of a cocktail bar and restaurant. Although, they still have Black Sheep Best Bitter on handpull.
You immediately notice an extremely garish front room reminiscent of a tart's boudoir. To the rear is the dining area, where they assumed we would be heading.
Bar blockers made drinks selection difficult and I had to head to the side of the bar to get served, nearly knocking over a large and unstable cabinet holding the bar's glasses over in the process.
Not sure quite what to make of this one, but it definitely wasn't for me. Some of the cocktails listed on each table did sound interesting though!

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Huntsman
Relatively new restaurant / bar (about 15 months old) in a converted shop. Split-level interior, with a lounge-like front part with the bar and a dining area up a few steps further back. Semi-modern furniture and decor throughout. Two of three handpumps in operation, offering Old Speckled Hen and Horncastle Angel of Light.
