Similar to the last reviewer, I also came on a Sunday to find this micropub empty. This is another that has failed to re-open after lockdown.

Classic Micro Pub - shop front, enthusiastic owner, real ales gravity fed on the bar, collection of belgium classics, real cider, mismatched furniture.
Unfortunately, came on a Sunday when it was empty. With no music or other background chatter, there was just the hum of the beer coolers to provide an atmosphere.
Tom Long from Stroud Brewery in good condition but of course, headless from the gravity feed.
Hope its a sucssess for them.

Real Ale Ray left this review about The Little George
Six ales on stillage and two keg beers on our visit. I went for the Byatts Big Cat, which was a big disappointment as it was so flat and lifeless. The young barman told us that they open from Wed-Sat and that they pour away any beer that is left on a Saturday night. I gave my pint another few swirls around the glass and decided to take it back and changed it for Stroud Long Tom, which was slightly better, but nothing to write home about. The pub had three areas the front bar with high stools a couple of tables midway, and the rear section housed a table for six drinkers. The tables and chairs were an eclectic mix of oak furniture and some standing lamps with large shades made a good contrast against the cream painted walls and laminate flooring. The prices in here were also very steep at £3.80 a pint for a 4% beer, compared to £3.20 a pint at the close by Alehouse, serving better quality beer.
