Didn't particularly enjoy my visit here, maybe the attending hen party killed any ambiance there may have been but I doubt there is any to be had normally and the loud godawful music certainly didn't help. Two Cask beers on Buxton Made For Draft House and Kent Never Mind The Hops which I didn't enjoy at all and left half behind. I'll stay in the Old Fountain across the road next time.

Located on a horribly modern cold walkthrough, split level long bar with an underground type feel. Modern, but ok, with good beer.

I've been to a few in this chain, and this is one of the better ones.A very modern building,it has metal chairs outside in the walkway, while the interior is split level. The ground floor has a long bench under the front window with small half tables interspersed and high tables opposite.Quite a steep climb takes you to the bar, there is more bench seating with larger tables and lots of drinking shelves. It's here you notice the industrial look with ducting, neon lights and a concrete floor. All very hip.
The deal here like elsewhere in the chain is 3 real ales and a real cider, with much more keg variety from 18 pumps from the likes of BrewDog,Siren,Vibrant Forest and Cloudwater. The real ale choice on my trip was Tyne Bank Summer Breeze (cheap option) ,Siren YuLu and Suspended in Ekuonot (brewed hazy, decent but inexeperienced barmaid jerked out my pint and pull a short one £3.80)
I suspect this can get crammed at peak hours, but I liked the vibe when quiet and the food comprising of hot dogs, burgers(beef, fish, chicken ,veggie)and wings wouldn't break the bank and would go with the beer.
Worth looking in if crawling the area for real ale options,I can see a revisit on the cards.
