Yes I agree a nice little micro pub with character. After visiting the new micropub/ bottle shop down the road this one felt much more like a proper ale house. An impressive collection of beer mats now adds to the bar feel for this one.
A chalk board detailed the five ales and two keg beers available from a cool room behind the bar and a nice feature was that it gave the distance in miles of the bar from the brewery and as for my visit this was nothing under 100 miles except for 22, a copper bitter from Dancing Duck so I went for this one.
A pretty good real ale micropub and certainly better than the traditional Craft Union pub just round the corner.

A cheeky little micro off the High Road - a basic shop conversion with some interesting ales served from a cool room behind the tiny bar. A number of beer fridges contained what was claimed to be the "largest selection of cans in Beeston". The cask ales on this visit were Almasty Simple Pleasures, Campbell St Anyone here studied Latin?, Burning Sky Aurora, Milestone Cromwell, and Madcap Monumental, with six or more ciders also listed. Good place to stop off for a pint.

One room with bar to right rear. Four real ales of decent strength - also six kegs. Quite full inside and outside - worth a revisit.
