Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about Bitterne Park Hotel

Substantial pub, formerly a hotel, with an irregularly-shaped and partly opened-out interior featuring the main seating areas at each end of the bar plus a total of three side rooms - one with a pool table, another with a small stage and the third in darkness but looking like a dining area. Fairly plain but tidy furniture and decor. Beer garden with children's play area to the rear. Just Courage Directors (£3.00) from a pair of handpumps.
