Requested be closed with reason - Other: Google says "closed"; Street View has the builders in; website is defunct and Expedia can't make a booking. If the hotel's closed, I think the bar is as well

Bar Red is the bar of the New Madeira Hotel on Brighton’s seafront. There is some café seating on the path and the open plan bar is accessed up a few townhouse steps. The bar located to the right of the entrance is stocked with standard keg alongside Pilsner Urquell. During my visit on a recent Saturday afternoon there was some dance music playing in the background and the only other customers were a hen party that were about to kick off their weekend of getting hammered. The service was friendly, but I saw nothing in this basic bar that would have me rushing back
