I couldn't quite work this place out on my lunchtime visit today. It comes across as a bar that does pizza, but felt a bit more like a pizza restaurant that is also a bar to me. Most of the seating is set up in a café / restaurant style with just two stools at one end of the bar and a couple of sofas and an armchair round a small table in front of the bar, which almost felt as if I should not have been there. This is an Untappd verified venue and as such I figured they must be quite beer focussed so didn't feel too uncomfortable going in just for a drink.
At my lunch time visit today I noticed three sets of keg taps on the front of the bar, with some of these being duplicated, eg Samuel Adams, but was pleased to find something by Alphabet Brewing Co available. I went for this in a bit of a blind panic, as none of this matched up with what I had seen on their Untappd menu beforehand, and left me a bit confused until I sat down and noticed the big sign behind the bar listing the eight guest beers they have available! These are served from a row of taps on the back wall.
I went for the Downfall by Garage Beer Co, which was a lovely fruity tropical IPA, and then the Imperial Puft by Tiny Rebel. Strong at 9% but smooth and dangerously drinkable, almost like a dessert in a glass. Pricing on the guest keg beers was per 2/3 pint so just bear that in mind. The guests I had were not cheap but at 7% and 9% they were not going to be, and there were cheaper options available at lower strength. I'd be interested to see what this place is like of an evening. If you fancy some nice keg filth, it's definitely worth a visit. The pizzas looked good too, from what I could see - and the real flame pizza oven is a great feature.

Uber trendy looking bar, full of people who aren't (including me). One big room with whitewashed brick walls and full of minimalist trestle tables . An "electronic music" DJ playing even at 5:30. No real ale and a half of Sam Adams was a rip off £2.40. There are 8 craft kegs available that are even more. It's so cheaply put together that a large peice of plastic beading over the door fell off whilst I was in the bar. My notes say "Awful, really, really full of total twonks". Sums it up really. :-))
