Quite a smart set up and reasonably sizable. It's still as Quinno describes but enhanced in the fact that Elusive brewert just a few yards away across the road also has a taproom open on Fridays and Saturdays, so a good possible double up.

A new venue in the same industrial estate for the tap room, which has been properly designed for drinking this time. Located in a converted late 80’s light office unit the single room interior has some craft beer nods but steers well clear of cliché and is designed to be an enjoyable, rather than challenging, venue. A number of their beers are on (keg only) at relatively competitive prices. We got there not long after midday on a Saturday and there was already a premium on seats – this is popular enough that people will make a special effort to hike over to an industrial estate! So a good crafty all-rounder and it’s worth a visit if you like the Siren.

The tap room for Siren Craft Brew, this is essentially a bit of the nondescript industrial unit with some chunky tables and chairs in which you can sample a range (usually 4-5) from key keg at the bar, or a wide selection of bottles hidden away in a cupboard. Prices were fairly reasonable for the key keg, and of course were served up by an obligatory hipster barman (who was, in fairness, knowledgeable and helpful). Atmosphere is provided by the numerous racks of outsized ex-distilling barrels that are being used to age various beers as well as some leftfield piped music. On a bitterly cold March afternoon the main door was left open which made for a less than comfortable drinking experience, despite the interior heaters being on full blast. Vaping allowed inside. For those planning a visit, the no.3 from Reading-Wokingham stops outside the industrial estate (two mins walk) and is fairly regular. Rated 6
