One of the most popular pubs in the town and situated close to Larkhall rail station and the town centre. Inside its a nice traditional tidy pub with plenty of seating, the bar area is directly in front of you as you enter, there is a flat screen tv above the bar and a larger on on the wall on the left hand side as you enter (usually showing sports racing football- Rangers when they are on - etc), Weekends seem to be karaoke nights with some pretty good singers and songs (some not so good ) from the past and up to date, It has the usual array of drinks (no real ales) Tennent's £2.90 a pint (as at February 2015) etc - locals when ever I have been in have been a noisy bunch having fun and pretty friendly with someone almost always chatting to me - the manager is a grumpy git (but a nice guy) - toilets are spotless (always a plus for me) - its a local bar and most folk seem to know each other can be a bit dead during the day and sometime mobbed at night at the weekend - can be used by certain marching members in the summer months (which in my opinion is a pity) but for all that its a good pub for a pint and well worth a visit.

This pub comes under Rosemount Taverns Group, which was formed in 1997, and is now one of the largest independent pub companies in Scotland with a substantial portfolio of Public Houses located throughout with over 50 pubs located throughout Scotland. This one The Music Room situated less than 200yards from the train station is a very popular Larkhall pub of which other people from the outlying villages have also recommended. There is a beer garden to the rear. Plus, food is served daily in the lounge bar. The usual, Tennent’s lager is on tap.
