The barman was pulling through a fresh barrel of Falstaff Fistful of Hops as we arrived, so we were content to wait a couple of minutes - especially as there was no other real ale available. This is an odd bar, more like a small working men's club than a micropub, but I must admit I didn't give it much thought at the time, as I was too busy enjoying the excellent beer - such a contrast to the Old Cross and the even worse Old Rock that had gone before. This was pub number seven of the Alan Winfield Memorial Pub Crawl .

Larrys is the latest bar /pub to open in Stapleford,it is situated on the cross roads in the middle of Stapleford which locals call the roach.
The pub was converted from commercial premises which was originally the old midland bank.
Once inside there is a smallish single square shaped room, there is a smallish bar on the left side, the seating is a mix of a few tall tables and stools and a few normal tables and chairs, the room is carpeted.
There were two real ales on the bar both from Full Mash brewery which is only a few minutes walk down the road from the pub,we had a drink of Full Mash Whistlin Dixie which went down very well and was also at a decent price the other beer was Full Mash Red Dog.
Background music was playing during our Saturday dinner visit, cobs were also on the bar.
The pub was quite busy with locals a few of them who i know personally.
The pub is run by the same people who run the Nags Head and Plough which is just up the road.
I was happy enough drinking in this pub,my wife was not that struck on the place though.
