The Queen’s Hotel has a decent sized bar with a dining area to the right and hotel reception to the left along with the Courtenay room which I imagine is used for quiet reflection and private functions. San Miguel is available from the bar alongside a standard draught selection. One of the three hand pumps was unused leaving Teignworthy’s Gun Dog and Reel Time as the ale options during my recent Thursday evening visit. Food is available from midday until 14:00 and 18:00 until 21:00. But I didn’t see any menus as my visit was after the kitchen had closed. There was no background music and Sky Sports is not shown here, but there is a plasma screen that was showing The Long Kiss Goodnight.
This isn’t a place that I will be rushing back to.
