Quite a modern place with no real ales. I had a quick half of some craft beer which I have forgotten and moved on!

Located just around the corner from the High Street, it is, as it’s name suggests, housed in a converted church building adjacent to a disused water tower. There is some outside seating on the terrace at the front and this was a pleasant enough spot as the road seems quite quiet.
Internally it consists of a smaller room at the front together with a larger L-shape room at the rear. The décor style is quite quirky and has more of a lounge bar type feel to it than your more traditional pub. The flooring was wood strip whilst the ceiling was smooth white plasterwork and the walls predominantly dark blue/grey paintwork. Some free standing bookshelves broke up the space a little, and these housed a collection of old bottles, vases, books and games. Furniture was a multitude of different colours and the walls were liberally plastered with random pictures, drawing, old maps and a few black and white photographs of the area. Further seating was provided by high stools opposite the bar counter and a length of marble shelving provided somewhere for you to rest your pint.
Unfortunately there were no real ales on tap, although an A-board outside was promoting their craft beer. Presumably these were all keg and regrettably I neglected to note them. The solitary cider meanwhile was Mortimer’s Orchard.
