We enjoyed our visit to this good traditional pub. The interior was carpeted throughout and the walls were wallpapered. You enter a small lounge area with pool table and beyond this was the main lounge and bar. Four handpumps, I went for the High House Farm Nels Best, a well kept, good session ale. This is a friendly and comfortable pub, so expect to stay a while. The pub has a good reputation for food.
