Alan Winfield left this review about Kings Head

The Kings Head was a decent looking pub that was in an area that once had lots of pubs, now sadly all gone for good.
Once inside this pub had a smartish lounge to the front which was carpeted, the seating was comfy bench type and chairs, there was a seperate bar.
The pub was an Hansons tied house, there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Hansons Mild which was a very nice drink, the other beer was Banks's bitter.
This was a nice comfortable pub to have a drink in.
The pub has now sadly been pulled down, there is now a one stop shop on its site.
