Smart modern bar with a mix of furniture and decor; unsurprisingly (given its Gay Village location) LGBT+ friendly, but certainly not in an exclusive way. A few small tables can also be found out on the pavement, and a limited menu is also offered. No real ale, unfortunately, so went for the Sharp's Atlantic (£3.60) from one of the keg founts.

Large open plan modern lounge in Gay Village, neat, tidy with lightfurnishings giving a sleek feel. Tables on the frontage.

No real ale, but its a nice looking bar

This is part (along with Equator Bar) of a 17th century styled unit. The upper storey is in brick, with bow windows, roundalls and a pedimented central gable. The lower frontage is in modern glass and green and there is a patio area at front. It is a gay-friendly modern bar, with a plethora of sofas and some banquette seating - with tables and chairs. It is in brick, coffee, brown wood panel, some patterned wallpaper and has a wood floor - warehouse style they call it. It is irregular in shape and has mixed arty art on the walls, as well as TVs switched to music channels (charty stuff - slightly loud for a misery like me). The service was fine and the clientele, younger but mixed. There is a DJ area. Beer; no real ale, the keg bitter was off, so had a lager shandy - they do have Peroni too. Felt comfy enough here, but one for the younger crowd - i think it is a start-off for the Nightingale Club next door.
