Really handy from the M6 if you are trying to break up a journey to/from Scotland.
Large rambling former coaching house, that they appear to have added an extra dining extension to on my last visit.
The food and service is good - although the prices seem higher than previous. Possibly to pay for the dining room :-)
As I was driving, I paid no attention to the beers on offer, I'm afraid.
