Excellent pub in picturesque village, conveniently next to station. Central bar furnished in good traditional style, with more tables round to the right and a nice-looking restaurant area to the left. Tables outside at front. Good selection of beers (Cask Marque registered) and food looked good although not sampled. Well worth a visit.

New owners took over in April, and have changed the ethos of this once family local. They increased the prices of both the food and the drink. The pub doesn't appear to get cleaned properly and the food isn't up to its once good standard.
