Certainly not a pub.
Beautiful old Victorian railway hotel bar........but........
No draught beer, just Icelandic lager!
Waited service only and an automatic 12.5% service charge added to your bill.
Won't be back.

Access is now from a door to the left of the hotel entrance and is guarded by a doorman to keep out undesirables.Along the pavement to either side of the entrance you can order drinks from a waiter , sit under the canopy and observe the activity in the taxi rank. The interior is louche with several seating booths and a central cocktail bar with no signs of any real ale or keg beers.Bottles are the order of the day.It feels pretentious,it might suit a couple wanting a tete a tete but this place is never going to cater for a beer drinker. The good news is that the Parcel Yard is close by.

This over-pretentious hotel bar caters for those with too much money and too little taste. It is reached through the main hotel entrance, which has recently been refurbished to a high standard in an effort to regain some of its former Victorian glory. There is no real ale, just over-priced bottled lager, below-par wine and spirits hidden below counter level. Probably good for getting late night drinks if you're a resident, but there's very little to attract me back, and I really wouldn't include it on a crawl.
