Real Ale Ray left this review about BrewDog

This Brewdog was a lot smaller than I had envisioned. The annoyances on our visit was the music being too loud on our early Saturday afternoon visit and from the loud din of half a dozen people moving about upstairs. Doesn't seem to be any sound proofing between the ground and first floor. Going to the loo was another picture puzzle, as you had to work out from a scribbled image on the door, which was the male or female smiley face.

Old Boots left this review about BrewDog

The Brewdog website says the waiting is over, I'm not sure what the wait was actually for, after all North opened many years ago, Reliance and Further North more recently and Friends of Ham have a far more radically innovative idea than this fairly standard style of modern bar. Located next to Pizza Express behind the Corn Exchange, at first glance it looks like it is part of that pizza emporium, the big Brewdog sign on the wall does give away the location but not of the front door. A single, squarish room with the brick built counter running along most of the back wall, this has four black triple keg fonts labelled with the Brewdog badge but no sign of the identity of the beer being served, boards behind the counter list the beers available in keg or bottle. A few beers, usually the lower strength Brewdog ones, are priced by the pint the others by 2/3 or 1/3, nothing is under £4 a pint, the choice is not limited to Brewdog. If you can't make up your mind you can get a flight of four thirds of "draft" beers. All the glassware is Brewdog branded and the staff are nicely efficient. Furnishing is limited to a few low tables and chairs in the corners and a long table in the middle, up the spiral staircase is further seating with stools, booth-like seats and drinking shelves. Both floors are of course barely lit, but I could make out the customers as being the target demographic of 25-40 year olds in the main with a few younger or older, not much in the way of sculpted facial hair or designer eyeware/haircuts and definitely no tea cosy hats, this is Leeds after all not trendy Manchester.
