I hadn't expected this pub to open until 3pm on a weekday. So, I'd lingered in the King's Head waiting for it to open. As it happened, I arrived shortly after 3pm to find it fairly busy with a mainly young post-work crowd.
The pub has a number of different rooms with the main bar area at the front split into two sections. HPA & Butty Bach were the real ales. The pub is featured in the 2024 Good Beer Guide. I'm not sure if the pub offers full meals, but various bar snacks, with an Indian slant, were advertised on a board at the end of the bar.
