Dandelion is more of a café than bar, but passers-by are invited to pop in for a drink. Local beer and cider is also mentioned on a sign out front, but if there is any it must be bottled as the bar (if you can call it that) supports five generic draught products. There was some low background music playing and I didn’t spot any televisions or gaming machines.
Outside is a terrace area with nice views of the Lulworth Cove and the streams of passing tourists. Some of the group I was with had some lunch here and weren’t very impressed with the quality. Asked if they would dine here again they replied in the negative.
The terrace is a pleasant spot and I would have no problem sitting outside for another couple of beers. However, I wouldn’t entertain the idea of visiting here again if the weather dictated that I had to sit inside as I would rather do without a beer.
