Decent village pub, catering mainly for food. Central bar with drinking/eating areas around three sides and an extra conservatory for diners.
Three real ales on and the Otter Bitter was in excellent condition, served in the brewery glass.
They source meat from their own farm and fish from a local supplier. We were there on a Sunday and the Sunday lunch was excellent.
Friendly staff.
Recommended.

Much as described earlier, except interior refurbished in more trendy pale blue/grey colour. Beer range improved with examples from Cotleigh, Dartmoor and St Austell alongside usual Otter at time of visit and nicely kept.

A large detached hotel, bar and restaurant with blach and white exterior and beer patio.
The interior has a central brick bar with open plan arrangement around. Decor is the modern plain wall look; red and white, with the mix of table, chairs and sofas. Much is laid out for food. There was a pool table and tv. There were paintings and prints on the walls, many for sale. Service was friendly and the clientele mixed. Background music fine.
Beer; usual tap stuff, with Otter Bitter and Ale, with Ohanlons Yellow Hammer, which was nice, on handpull
Too foody and modern for my taste really, i wouldnt bother again, especially as its out of the way.
