Soup Dragon left this review about The Gower Inn

This is a detached pub and eatery, with beer garden. It has been an Inn since the later Victorian period at least, with the olderst part being the main 'house', the rear extensions are more modern. The pub is in undressed stone, with an added porch and a few later bay windows. This is a food pub, with the main area being on two levels and taken-up with tables. This area is in stone, blue and white amongst other colours. It was absolutely rammed, so we went outside and I got a drink from the smaller bar at the back. The fact that it is aimed at the family is shown by the collection of kid's grabbing machines in a covered area before the bar. The bar is in white and wood, with a coffee and fake beam ceiling and there is a stone fireplace. Golf was on the TV, which goes with the sport pictures that are on the walls, as well as the pool table and dart board. Just a note - you have to pay £1 for parking, but this is refunded with any purchase. The service was fine and holidaymakers like ourselves had filled the place - and outside. Beer; usual tap stuff with a rather cold and fizzy Gower Gold on handpull. Being miserable, i didn't like the fact that it was rammed and the Gower beers are not to my taste - at least i got my quid back.
