Circular pub with bar in the middle. Mainly a food pub. One weak real - Marstons Pedigree.

Soup Dragon left this review about Yates

This is a modern looking Yates' bar on the seafront, with a patio area. Situated next to the theatre the place has a slightly ship looking white frontage while the rest of the building is glass which affords views over the delights of Skeggy.

The interior is just a large open plan room. The room is really laid out for foor, with tables and chairs along with high stools and things. A plethora of different lamp-shades make one feel like it is Ikea, especially with the usual decor of brown, red, wood panel and browny patterned wallpaper. The floor is part wood and part carpet, the ceiling cream. There is a raised area, with a DJ booth. There is little in the way of pictures or ephemera to make the place interesting apart from the abundance of silent TVs showing footy and other things, with one large one at the end of the room. The background music was quiet and mixed. They do food of course, but i didn't eat here so can't comment on that. The service was fine and the place was quite busy with holiday-makers.

Beer; well, the usual tap stuff with the ubiquitous and rather tastless Bombardier and GK IPA on handpull - although they were both not on. I had half a Strongbow and sank into a chair.

A holiday bar for snap and fizz. One of many and not the worst.
