A disappointingly-basic locals' pub, with the main room dominated by pool and television, and a dining room behind. Perhaps I caught it at an unlucky moment, but it didn't do much for me. It did have a couple of good local ales on however and I didn't sample the food, so cannot comment on that.

A warm welcome awaits everyone at the Kings Arms in Hartland. This former coaching inn is ideally placed to stop of for a drink or sample one of Iains home cooked meals after exploring the Atlantic coast.
The Kings combines an informal family-friendly bar and a quality restaurant serving fresh local food, It's the perfect place to enjoy a cold beer in the garden, have a light lunch, relax after a day’s walking, watch a sporting event on the big screen, or grab a bite.
Diners can choose from our wide range of bar snacks and specials which are available at lunchtimes and in the evenings, as well as a choice of two meats with our Sunday lunches.The wide range of beers available at The Kings includes local real ales from the Forge Brewery located here in Hartland! as well as nationally know lagers, bitters & stout. A large selection of spirits, mixers and soft drinks are also available, as well as tea, coffee and hot chocolate. There is also an extensive wine list.
