This is an old town pub that had a few in on my Wednesday afternoon visit. It consists of a small wide rectangular room with the bar counter at the rear. There are old beams and an assortment of furnishings.
There are four hand pumps which had Jollyboat Grenville's Renown, Sharp's Doom Bore and Original and Country Life Reef Break. I went for the Reef Break (£3.30) which was in good condition.
I thought this was a pleasant enough spot but the beer choice was all bitters of around 4% abv and two of them were from Sharp's.
