During a recent Monday evening visit the right hand public bar of the Egerton Inn was very busy with a boisterous local crowd. Seating is found at the front and at the rear are a pool table and dartboard. The rectangular lounge bar with banquette seating in the left hand side had only two customers so I decided to take my pint there. There is a jukebox and televisions for showing Racing TV and BT Sports are located throughout. The usual Holts keg is available and the three handpumps in each bar were all badged with Holts Bitter. The service was polite, but I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.

The Egerton Inn is hidden away in the back streets of crumpsall.
This is a decent looking stand alone pub that is fairly old.
Once inside there were two rooms and i had a drink in the bar which was a very nice room to have a few drinks in,the pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar i had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a very nice drink the other beer was Holts mild.
I quite liked this pub and it is still up and running.
