The Bricklayers is a Holts pub with their range of keg and two hand pumps, but one was unused and the other was off. During a visit early evening on a Tuesday in September last year the left bar was closed and there were ten or so vocal locals in the large right hand bar. Two large TV screens were showing muted Sky and BT Sports whilst some background music played. The lager was very cheap and the service very friendly.

The Bricklayers Arms is a fairly large bare brick built pub that is set sideways onto ordsall lane.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms that we noticed and we had a drink in the bar which was a decent enough room to have a drink in.
This pub is a Joseph Holt tied house and there were two real ales on the bar we had a drink of Holts bitter and this was a really nice drink, the other beer was Holts mild.
We thought this was quite a nice pub and we were happy enough having a drink in here.
