Will Larter left this review about North Pole Inn

According to the Sheffield History Forum, this was once a country house, then a canalside pub: "Once it was known as Parkside Cottage, and had a garden running down to a broad mill pond adjoining the River Don." After closing as a pub it became offices for Truprint. (Photo from 2007 at www.sheffieldhistory.co.uk/forums used with permission from the photographer.) The pub is still standing though now almost unrecognisable in its new garb as a mosque.
