Quite a sight from the outside with a natty magenta and white paintjob. Sadly the inside is rather less enticing, with a battered front bar and a rear pool room. A lot of things in here were nodding at the 80’s including the music on the speakers and the friendly barman himself, who looked like an aged Nik Kershaw tribute. Just one ale, a fairly lacklustre Pedigree (so much for the prominent Bass signage outside). Apparently the local pigeon fanciers club meet here – that’s quite a coup (geddit?!?)
