Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Cow
Modern Geronimo Inn on the edge of the Westfield shopping centre. Reversed 'J'-shaped bar with several small seating areas around the windows on two sides. Has three completely pointless roof trusses purely for decoration beside which there is a staircase leading up to the 'Craft Bar & Dining Rooms'. Also has a covered outdoor seating area with a table-tennis table. Two banks of four handpumps, both offering Doom Bar, the seasonal Young's Autumn Gold, Hamerton N17 and Truman's Hoptoberfest (£4.55).

This is a modern bar set over three floors situated in an outside part of the Westfield shopping complex. Part of the Geronimo Inns chain, it feels a bit foody but certainly not exclusively. The pub is overly themed to the point of irritation, trading on the Cow name with nonsenses such as cowhide chairs, the toilets are "cowboys" and "cowgirls", the upper areas are "udder floors" and the staff were referred to on a chalkboard as "the herd". Ridiculous.
There are bars at ground and second floor level, both repeat the same beers, Youngs Bitter, Sharp's Cornish Coaster (£3.79), Sambrook's Junction and Adnam's Broadside. The ground floor has fake wooden trusses, boarded wall with cow horns while the upper floor has a more industrial feel with exposed metal ductwork and steel purlins. There are decent views over the Olympic Park from upstairs. A small glazed screened off area up here is called "The Private Parlour". The glazing renders it as public as anywhere else in my book.
My beer was served in a plain glass tankard for some unknown reason as on looking around not one other customer was issued with a similar vessel.
Not the best of places to be fair and if needing to escape from the dystopia of Westfield you'd be better off seeking out Tap East.
