Now called Wine Vaults ,this is a former pub situated on a street corner with a newer front conservatory tacked on,which still gives the place a coffee shop feel.You enter in through the old pub door ,with rooms to your left and right,each with their own bar,although only the left handside is operational.Further back at the left is a raised back area where a lot of refurb is going on to create more seating and this section has its own bar access.
At the bar there is a solitary unused handpumps ,and a few keg beer options,all mainstream.You will have to sit at a coffee table or stand around the bar if just drinking,but it will be interesting to see if the refurb tilts this place more towards the food options or towards a bar/pub feel.
Time will tell,no real ale yet.
