A traditional two-roomer with classic cosy interior décor and clean as a whistle. A good selection of locals in, including an old gits corner. Two spots of note, a bugle and a miniature of the Burton Union system in a glass case. Two ales on, classic Potteries clichés of Pedigree and Bass, my half of the latter was in very good shape. Desmond was also very happy with the quality of his bubbles. I really enjoyed my brief stay in here, it is an exemplar of what a good village pub should be. 8.5

The Bulls Head seemed very old fashioned inside but not in a nice way.
There were a couple of rooms in this pub we went in the room to the left this had very dated furniture and most of the customers were oldish,i dont mind old pubs but this place was not my sort of pub.
There were two real ales i had a drink of Pedigree and this was decent enough there was also Bass on.
