A stunning interior, which shimmers with a touch of opulence. I especially liked the positioning of the Baby Grand Piano on a raised area near the front entrance. Unfortunately no pianist on our Friday night visit. However there was a guitarist playing live, which was good. Two cask ales on handpump, Jarrow Rivet Catcher and TT Landlord.

what a gem, a totally over designed eccentric bar playing traditional jazz music and I absolutely loved it. it’s the kind of place I loved as soon as I walked in - won’t even bother trying to explain it but let’s just say the decor is unique . Free popcorn was also offered to all tables, very generously sized bowls too! The ale choice isn’t as good as other places in the city but it’s a must on any future visits to the city.

As ROB points out this is an amazing place and we always visit this while staying in Newcastle.Mrs Wild Rover also loved the place and said the ladies were top class.Had better luck on the wheel of fortune this time with a couple of half priced drinks plus 6 free shots.Worth a visit if you are in Neĺwcastle.
