Alan Winfield left this review about The Dover Castle
When i went in the Dover castle it was a decent back street pub that was just off waterloo road in the hightown area of Salford.
Once inside this pub had a couple of rooms,i had a drink in the bar which was a decent comfortable room to have a drink in.
On my visit the pub was a Burtonwood tied house and there was one real ale on the bar this was Burtonwood bitter and this was quite a nice drink.
I think this pub is still up and running.
Pub visited 30/12/1993
PS: Sorry about taking a photo of the car park.
